Seafront Simulations releases “Vessels: UK South West” for MSFS

Seafront Simulations continues to enhance coastal areas in Microsoft Flight Simulator and has just released one of its most ambitious projects yet: Vessels: UK South West. This extensive add-on, covering a massive 850km stretch of the UK’s southwestern coastline, includes over 20,000 boats!

Seafront Simulations says that Vessels: UK South West meticulously models the rivers, marinas, ports, and harbours of the region. From Poole and Christchurch to Plymouth and Bristol, the scenery covers prominent areas along the coast, promising richer views for simmers flying over these areas. Notable locations such as Brixham, Exmouth, Dartmouth, Teignmouth, and Falmouth are brought to life with intricate detail and activity.

Prepare to be awestruck by the sheer variety of vessels. Keep an eye out for the imposing Astute-class nuclear submarine departing from His Majesty’s Naval Base Devonport in Plymouth. The pack also features landable Royal Navy ships, including Bay-class dock landing ships and Type 23 frigates.

But “Vessels: UK South West” isn’t just about military muscle. The scenery promises to bring the South West’s commercial and leisure sectors to life. Witness the hustle and bustle of the Bristol Channel with its diverse commercial shipping, from colossal vehicle carriers to nimble ferries zipping across the water. Explore the charming coastal towns with their populated marinas and bustling harbors. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the iconic RNLI lifeboats patrolling the coastline, a constant reminder of the region’s maritime heritage.
