Carenado teases Cessna T210 Turbo Centurion for MSFS 2024

Carenado is teasing a return to the world of high-performance singles in Microsoft Flight Simulator with a sneak peek at what appears to be the Cessna T210 Turbo Centurion. The reveal came via a single promotional image and a short statement on their Facebook page:

“Ready for the high wing boss?…coming soon to the skies of Flight Simulator. Stay tuned!”

There’s no release date, feature list, or additional context. Just a clean image of the T210 flying at dusk in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.

While Carenado has a long history of developing the Cessna 210 line for earlier platforms like FSX and Prepar3D—including turbo variants—this would mark the first appearance of the Centurion in Microsoft Flight Simulator.

So far, Carenado has focused its MSFS efforts on a wide range of GA aircraft like the Mooney M20R, Beechcraft Bonanza V35B, and various Cessnas, but the 210 has been notably absent from that list—until now.

The T210 variant is known for its turbocharged Continental TSIO-520 engine, retractable gear, and higher cruise speeds than most fixed-gear singles, making it a step up for simmers looking to cover more distance at altitude while staying within piston territory.

What to expect

If this release follows Carenado’s recent pattern, we can likely expect a mix of visual fidelity, multiple liveries, and tablet-based customization features like avionics swapping. Their latest aircraft—such as the Beechcraft Bonanza F33A and C182Q Skylane—have included support for popular third-party GPS systems like the GTN750/650 (via PMS50 and TDS Sim), so it’s very possible we’ll see something similar here.

That said, Carenado hasn’t shared any technical specs, avionics configuration details, or platform availability yet.

The Turbo Centurion holds an interesting place in GA simulation—it offers more performance than a basic trainer, but remains accessible and versatile. It’s capable of long-range cross-country flights and can handle higher cruise altitudes, all while offering the familiar high-wing visibility many simmers prefer.

We’ll keep tracking this as it develops and share any further details with you as they become available. Stay tuned!
