Aeroplane Heaven confirms the Avro Lancaster for MSFS is ready for release

After months of silence, Aeroplane Heaven has resurfaced with an update that is sure to excite fans of historic aviation. The developer has confirmed that its long-awaited Avro Lancaster for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now complete, with beta testing finalized. In a brief but reassuring message shared earlier today, Aeroplane Heaven stated: “The beta testing is complete. She’s ready. Watch this space.

Accompanying this announcement are two new images showcasing the iconic WWII bomber in all its glory. One is particularly striking, offering a detailed look at the aircraft on the ground, surrounded by vintage equipment such as a fuel bowser and a variety of ordnance, highlighting the period-accurate environment created by the developer.

Aeroplane Heaven first revealed the Lancaster project in early 2022, promising a highly detailed rendition of the legendary heavy bomber. Since then, progress updates have been sporadic, until now.

The Avro Lancaster will join Aeroplane Heaven’s lineup of historic aircraft for MSFS, bringing one of WWII’s most iconic bombers into the simulator with modern visuals and systems.

Stay tuned for further updates as we await confirmation of the release date and pricing details!
