MK-Studios has released its latest airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator: Adelaide International Airport (YPAD), a key transport hub in southern Australia. The scenery is compatible with both MSFS 2020 and 2024 and is now available via OrbxDirect.
Located just 6 kilometers west of Adelaide’s city center, YPAD is South Australia’s main airport, serving both domestic and international flights. Airlines such as Qantas, Virgin Australia, Singapore Airlines, and Qatar Airways operate regular services to and from the airport, connecting it to destinations across Oceania, Asia, and the Middle East.
MK-Studios’ version of YPAD brings a detailed and up-to-date representation of the airport to the simulator. According to the developer, the scenery includes a highly accurate rendition of the terminal with interior modelling, custom terrain elevation and runway profiles, updated taxiway layouts, and numerous bespoke assets, such as custom jetways and approach lighting. The airport also features animated ground vehicles and Safedock FleX docking systems, along with AI traffic compatibility.
For simmers interested in exploring more of Adelaide, a discounted bundle is also available via Orbx. The Adelaide Airport & City Bundle includes both the MK-Studios YPAD scenery and Orbx’s Adelaide City Pack, offering a broader depiction of the region. The bundle is currently available at a 15% discount.
