Microsoft Flight Simulator developer livestream returns this Wednesday, April 15

If you’ve been waiting on some clarity about what’s next for Microsoft Flight Simulator, this Wednesday is your best chance to get it straight from the source.

Microsoft has announced a Developer Livestream scheduled for Wednesday, April 15, at 17:30 UTC. The session will be hosted live on Twitch and will feature a panel discussion covering upcoming plans for MSFS, along with answers to community questions.

The format follows the traditional Q&A sessions that the MSFS team has run periodically since the simulator’s launch, giving the community a direct line to the developers. These streams have historically touched on sim updates, roadmap items, and third-party ecosystem topics, though no specific agenda has been shared ahead of this one.

With Sim Update 5 around the corner and a number of outstanding community questions around MSFS 2024’s development trajectory, there’s no shortage of topics the panel could address. As we covered back in March, Jörg Neumann promised the Q&As would return in early April, with a look at the full 2026 roadmap on the agenda, so this stream has been a while coming.

We’ll be watching closely and will bring you all the updates right here after the stream wraps. The stream goes live Wednesday, April 15 at 17:30 UTC on the official Microsoft Flight Simulator Twitch channel.
