Need more planes? SayIntentions Traffic+ now lets you boost injection density

Just days after teasing a new traffic system alongside their “Click-to-Talk” feature, SayIntentions.AI has moved quickly to deploy Traffic+, a new density-focused tool that allows simmers to “boost” the amount of AI traffic injection at will.

For simmers who rely on real-time data injectors like FSLTL or FS Traffic, flying outside of peak hours often results in a lonely experience. If you fly after work but your destination is in a time zone where it’s 3 AM, the virtual skies are often devoid of life because the real-world schedules are empty.

Traffic+ attempts to break this dependency on strict realism. Instead of being bound solely by FlightRadar24 or ADS-B data, the software now introduces a “density slider” that allows simmers to inject synthetic traffic on top of real-world schedules. It’s a solution for users who want “lots of traffic” regardless of the time of day.

To keep up with plausibility, SayIntentions says that Traffic+ maintains the logic of their standard injection system. Even when “multiplying” the traffic count, the system reportedly honors appropriate gates, airlines, and liveries for both commercial and GA traffic.

However, this increase in density comes with an important caveat regarding stability. This release is happening as an “Alpha Preview,” and the reason is simple: if the current traffic system has occasional bugs (such as disappearing planes or ground sequencing conflicts) multiplying the number of planes will mathematically multiply the frequency of those bugs.

Performance is another inevitable variable. While SayIntentions states their strategy relies on offloading calculations to the cloud to minimize CPU strain, they acknowledge that increasing the number of 3D objects in the simulator will always carry an FPS cost.

Only for Partners… for now

Currently, Traffic+ is available exclusively to holders of the “Partner Pack,” a $50 one-time add-on that funds R&D.

While the long-term goal is to roll this feature out to all standard subscribers by June, the developer has flagged a potential hurdle: cloud costs. Generating AI voice and traffic logic for hundreds of synthetic planes requires significant server-side compute power. The developer noted they are “monitoring usage carefully” to determine if the feature can be sustainable within the current subscription price, or if the “massive increase” in resource usage will necessitate a different approach.
